Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, build, and operate innovative products and services.
  • Break down complex and ambiguous problems into solvable components.
  • Develop scalable and reliable services with distributed-systems scope varying by team.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
  • Create clear and accurate technical documentation.
  • Use and critically validate AI-assisted development tools and generated code.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Participate in agile development, CI/CD practices, on-call duties, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in or have completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Know computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
  • Know at least one programming language such as C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl.
  • Have experience using AI-assisted development tools in an academic or professional setting.
  • Preferred qualifications include technical internship or project experience, strong problem-solving skills, exposure to AWS, SQL or NoSQL databases, open-source contribution, version control, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Preferred qualifications include the ability to learn quickly, demonstrate ownership and initiative, and understand the software development lifecycle.
  • Preferred qualification includes fluent English reading, writing, and speaking ability.
