Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on full-stack development for medium-to-large client projects.
- Build frontend applications, serverless API routes, and integrations with data sources using modern headless and composable architectures.
- Collaborate with UX, Design, Strategy, and Delivery teams to solve implementation challenges and deliver creative concepts as performant code.
- Understand client business goals and architect appropriate technical solutions.
- Own code quality end-to-end, including accessibility, performance, security, and automated testing.
- Mentor team members through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and support for professional growth.
- Work in Lean and Agile environments with a focus on continuous delivery and improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in full-stack web development.
- Advanced TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, accessibility, React, and Next.js experience.
- Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Strapi, or Sanity, plus search and indexing tools such as Algolia.
- Experience building serverless API routes with Next.js and using Hasura for GraphQL backends and hosted databases such as Neon Postgres.
- Experience deploying on Vercel and familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP enterprise cloud environments.
- Comfort using AI developer tools including Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot, and using the Vercel AI SDK for AI-driven web features.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, performance profiling, and internationalisation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborative, analytical, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach to engineering.
- React Native with Expo, e-commerce integrations, payment gateways, and web animation tools such as Framer Motion and GSAP are beneficial.
