Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, integrate, and maintain networking platform software involving IPsec, VPP, StrongSwan, and Linux networking.
- Implement and enhance IPsec/IKE, routing, traffic selector, SPD/SAD, tunnel, and traffic segregation features.
- Understand existing codebases, modify implementations, resolve defects, and perform code-level debugging.
- Troubleshoot multi-tunnel, multi-network, VLAN, container, and Kubernetes networking scenarios.
- Perform end-to-end troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across application, container, networking, VPP/DPDK, and Linux kernel layers.
- Develop AI-assisted log-analysis and root-cause-identification tools and collaborate across teams to resolve complex issues.
Requirements
- 8–13 years of hands-on software or platform development experience, preferably in networking or telecom.
- Strong hands-on experience with IPsec, VPP, and StrongSwan, including implementation, debugging, and integration.
- Strong Linux and kernel networking expertise, including packet flow, CPU/IRQ, performance, and system-level debugging.
- Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes networking experience, including CNI/Multus, SR-IOV, pod/service networking, and cluster debugging.
- Experience with VPP/DPDK and high-performance networking is highly desirable.
- Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills, plus Python or scripting skills for automation, analysis, and engineering tools.
- Experience with VPP/DPDK datapath development, performance optimization, Linux kernel networking internals, system debugging tools, SR-IOV, Multus, CNI, cloud-native telecom networking, or high-performance packet processing is preferred.
- Exposure to AI/LLM developer tools or coding assistants and experience applying AI to software development, log analysis, debugging, or RCA automation are beneficial.
