Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript and modern automation tools.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams to create test cases and validate functionality.
  • Create and enhance reusable automation components and test assets.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness.
  • Test cloud-native and distributed applications, including API validation and test data verification.
  • Analyze defects and document test results, risks, and remediation recommendations.
  • Support production validation, post-release testing, and ongoing quality assurance.
  • Use GenAI tools for test case creation, code generation, documentation, troubleshooting, and productivity improvements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and continue developing technical skills through training, certifications, mentorship, and project work.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or software development.
  • Experience using one or more of TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python, or C# through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional work.
  • Exposure to automated testing concepts and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile delivery, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development tools.
  • Basic knowledge of API testing, test automation principles, and quality engineering practices.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, CI/CD concepts, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Awareness of GenAI tools and interest in applying them to development, testing, productivity, and automation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a related college program.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain Reliability Clearance.
  • Preferred experience includes Postman or Insomnia, GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, performance testing, accessibility testing, security testing, quality monitoring, microservices, REST APIs, cloud-native applications, distributed architectures, Agile teams, hackathons, open-source projects, and relevant technical certifications or coursework.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $52,850 to $102,850 for British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick.
  • Located in Mississauga with onsite work required three days per week.
