Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to build AI-powered software features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code for AI-enabled applications, services, and APIs.
- Integrate LLMs and other AI services into applications and business workflows in AWS.
- Assist with prompt design, experimentation, evaluation, and validation of LLM-based features.
- Contribute to data pipelines, embeddings, retrieval components, and vector-search functionality.
- Build tools and integrations for agentic AI workflows, including tool calling, MCP, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Work with relational, NoSQL, and vector data stores to support AI solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, monitor, and resolve defects in AI-enabled applications and services.
- Support deployment and operation of AI applications and services in AWS environments.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile development activities while applying responsible AI and software engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, information technology, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Python demonstrated through coursework, projects, internships, or personal development.
- Foundational understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative AI concepts.
- Understanding of LLMs and basic prompt engineering concepts.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, relational and NoSQL databases, and Git or another version control system.
- Familiarity with AWS or another major cloud platform such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, learning, and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred: hands-on experience building LLM- or AI-enabled software through work, internships, academic or personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Preferred: experience with agent orchestration, tool or function calling, MCP, LangChain, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, LLM platforms, AWS AI services, Python data and ML libraries, model or prompt evaluation, and AI-assisted development tools.
