Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for web-based mission-critical applications.
- Translate complex technical workflows into simple, efficient user experiences that improve usability and adoption.
- Build and maintain front-end components using React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Apply usability standards and accessibility best practices.
- Contribute to and maintain design systems, reusable components, design patterns, and style guides.
- Gather and incorporate user feedback to improve interface design and functionality.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product teams, product owners, stakeholders, and end users.
- Optimize front-end performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required by the contract.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully pass a polygraph examination are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is required.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular is required.
- Demonstrated experience designing user-centered interfaces for complex applications is required.
- Understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design is required.
- Experience working in Linux-based environments is required.
- Ability to translate user needs into functional design solutions is required.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Grafana, REST APIs, front-end deployment workflows, Agile environments, and data-driven GEOINT applications.
