Base Salary
$125k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate control frameworks into layered preventive and detective control implementations.
- Build centralized security telemetry that captures control evidence and health in real time.
- Develop custom assurance logic and continuous audit automation for proprietary applications and internal workflows.
- Partner with risk management to build secure agentic risk assessment workflows.
- Architect universal provisioning connectors for proprietary databases, custom applications, and niche SaaS systems.
- Build customer-approved, time-bound access workflows with automatic revocation for support teams.
- Create a centralized permissions inventory with authorization-level visibility across applications.
- Automate discovery and inventory of secrets, credentials, and API keys, including aging and rotation data.
- Automate de-provisioning for local identities, API keys, and persistent permissions to eliminate ghost accounts.
- Partner with GRC, Finance, Security, Engineering, and Product to automate compliance and remove manual provisioning work.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on background in security automation and identity engineering, including IAM/IGA.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language used to build scalable automation, with Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, or Go required.
- Experience building scalable and reliable automation ecosystems.
- Familiarity with compliance automation, continuous control monitoring, and extending GRC tools for varied compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of risks related to change management, logical access, and data integrity.
- Ability to translate complex security and GRC mandates into automated workflows and self-healing technical guardrails.
- Experience delivering continuous data streams for security posture and risk validation.
- Experience with AI or agentic risk engines and non-deterministic risk assessments is a bonus.
- A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field is a bonus.
- Experience at a cloud infrastructure, database, or developer tools company is a bonus.
