
Automation Architect

- Translate BPMN, swimlane, and other business process diagrams into detailed, build-ready technical architecture designs.
- Design RPA and agentic AI ecosystems including system components, APIs, data flows, orchestration, queues, event triggers, AI agents, memory layers, and deployment topologies.
- Assess client environments, existing toolsets, infrastructure, cloud environments, integration capabilities, security requirements, and enterprise constraints.
- Define integration contracts, system interactions, non-functional requirements, sensitive-data flows, retention policies, compliance constraints, and data residency considerations.
- Design security, privacy, observability, logging, audit, encryption, access-control, secrets-management, and LLM guardrail mechanisms.
- Lead architecture workshops, whiteboarding sessions, technical walkthroughs, and design reviews with engineers, clients, IT stakeholders, and security review boards.
- Provide technical guardrails during implementation and review delivery for architectural adherence.
- Mentor engineers and reinforce architecture standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, intelligent automation, or enterprise system design.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise RPA solutions at scale.
- 1–3 years of experience integrating AI or LLM capabilities into automation workflows or enterprise applications.
- Multiple full-lifecycle implementations progressing from assessment through production deployment.
- Experience leading enterprise technical workshops, architecture whiteboarding, and cross-functional design reviews.
- Experience using at least one major RPA platform, including orchestration, queue management, Dev/Test/Prod strategy, and governance controls.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs, OCR, NLP, or related AI services, with familiarity with RAG, prompt design, human-in-the-loop workflows, and AI guardrails.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices, middleware, event-driven architecture, and secure data exchange across CRM, ERP, data, and legacy systems.
- Experience designing under data security and regulatory constraints, including encryption, access controls, credential management, logging, and auditability.
- Ability to present and defend architecture designs and clearly explain tradeoffs between deterministic automation and AI-driven solutions.
- Strong communication, facilitation, curiosity, and ongoing learning in emerging automation and AI technologies.
