Responsibilities
- Assess team workflows and identify where AI can improve the software development lifecycle.
- Define practical AI-enabled delivery approaches for individual teams.
- Evaluate and combine AI tools, assistants, skills, and agents.
- Lead AI implementation, adoption, governance, and responsible-use practices.
- Guide technical stakeholders on integration, governance, and measurable value.
- Establish reusable AI adoption patterns and lessons for subsequent teams.
- Coach teams through change until new ways of working are embedded.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading practical AI adoption in software delivery environments.
- Strong software engineering or technical delivery background.
- Hands-on understanding of AI coding assistants, agents, and workflow automation.
- Ability to objectively evaluate tools and design fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and change-adoption capabilities.
- Pragmatic focus on implementation, outcomes, and responsible AI use.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI-based tooling, or comparable platforms is beneficial.
- Experience with AI governance, developer enablement, or an AI Centre of Excellence is beneficial.
