Responsibilities
- Design and develop code for complex software solutions used in semiconductor equipment components and devices.
- Develop software documentation and test procedures.
- Troubleshoot difficult software problems and design and implement bug fixes.
- Define software specifications and test plans for simulators, test benches, or laboratory environments.
- Communicate with internal and external customers about requirements, project schedules, and software troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, software/system engineering, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Windows and Linux operating systems, networking principles, algorithms, multithreading, and RPC.
- Preferred: proficiency in .NET, C#, and embedded systems.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a related field.
- Preferred: knowledge of industry best practices and business drivers, and understanding of how the expertise integrates with other areas.
- Preferred: leadership skills to lead small projects as needed.
