Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack offensive security assessments across web and mobile applications, APIs, on-premises and cloud infrastructure, and backend systems.
- Conduct red team and purple team exercises, penetration testing, attack simulations, and threat emulation.
- Collaborate with detection engineers and engineering partners to improve detection coverage and validate security controls.
- Build and maintain security testing tools, frameworks, and automation scripts.
- Design metrics frameworks to measure security control effectiveness, detection coverage, and security improvements over time.
- Research current attack techniques, tools, and methodologies and develop offensive and defensive security improvements.
- Mentor security teams and communicate findings through detailed technical reports and recommendations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional offensive security experience, including red team and purple team exercises, penetration testing, and detection engineering collaboration.
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language for security tooling and automation.
- Expertise performing security assessments across applications, APIs, infrastructure, and backend systems.
- Deep knowledge of attack techniques, exploit development, post-exploitation methodologies, MITRE ATT&CK, PTES, EDR, SIEM, and XDR.
- Knowledge of networking, operating systems, security protocols, reverse engineering, cloud security, container security, CI/CD pipeline security, API security, and security metrics.
- OSCP, OSCE, GXPN, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
