Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship new products and features while maintaining quality.
- Own major parts of the codebase, set timelines, and lead project deliverables.
- Develop, release, and maintain backend services and/or infrastructure.
- Improve engineering processes, tools, systems, codebase scalability, and team productivity.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and analytics on impactful problems and experimentation.
- Contribute to project estimation, planning, execution, and integrations.
- Write clean, fully tested, high-performance code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a backend-focused software engineer.
- At least 3 years using TypeScript, Node.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and AWS, or willingness to cross-train and upskill.
- Ability to independently take projects from idea through implementation and solve challenging problems.
- Interest in working closely with product and design across design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Startup or scale-up experience and interviewing experience are preferred.
