Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable, high-quality software solutions across multiple technical areas.
  • Build and enhance iOS applications using SwiftUI, Apple frameworks, API integrations, and established design patterns.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use profiling, testing, automation, and operational-stability practices to improve application quality.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify problems and patterns that inform coding and architecture improvements.
  • Use and help improve enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools while validating generated code and documentation for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Guide peers on responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience designing and implementing iOS applications with SwiftUI, Foundation, UIKit, CocoaTouch, and Core Data.
  • Experience using Xcode tools including Debug Memory Graph, Debug View Hierarchy, and Instruments.
  • Experience with MVC, MVVM, MVP, or Singleton design patterns.
  • Working knowledge of Git and Bitbucket version control.
  • Experience creating an application available in Apple’s App Store.
  • Proficiency with Linux, Mac OS X, GNU tools, and scripting languages.
  • Understanding of build systems and CI/CD, including Jenkins.
  • Experience with Swift unit-testing frameworks and code-coverage tools.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine their outputs.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
