Responsibilities

  • Develop security tools and automation solutions using Python and other programming languages.
  • Design LLM-powered workflows for security alert prioritization, incident summarization, automated auditing and reporting, and identity and access policy explanation and validation.
  • Build integrations with Okta, SentinelOne, Zscaler, and other security technologies through REST APIs.
  • Develop secure connectors for OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and other LLM services.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and embed secure development practices throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Data Science teams on automation solutions.
  • Ensure applications meet secure development, auditing, logging, and data protection standards.
  • Support responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence across NOV.

Requirements

  • Fluent conversational English and current residence in Monterrey or the surrounding metropolitan area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience developing software with Python.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience developing automation tools or internal software solutions.
  • Knowledge of OAuth2 and OIDC authentication protocols.
  • Experience using Git and version control.
  • Understanding of secure software development best practices.
  • Interest or experience working with cybersecurity technologies.
  • Preferred experience with OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, or LLM-based applications; cybersecurity process automation; Okta, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, SentinelOne, or Zscaler; Terraform, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines; Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless technologies; Azure or AWS; event-driven architectures; logging, observability, or SIEM platforms; and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC, or similar are preferred.
