Responsibilities
- Develop security tools and automation solutions using Python and other programming languages.
- Design LLM-powered workflows for security alert prioritization, incident summarization, automated auditing and reporting, and identity and access policy explanation and validation.
- Build integrations with Okta, SentinelOne, Zscaler, and other security technologies through REST APIs.
- Develop secure connectors for OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and other LLM services.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and embed secure development practices throughout the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Data Science teams on automation solutions.
- Ensure applications meet secure development, auditing, logging, and data protection standards.
- Support responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence across NOV.
Requirements
- Fluent conversational English and current residence in Monterrey or the surrounding metropolitan area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience developing software with Python.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience developing automation tools or internal software solutions.
- Knowledge of OAuth2 and OIDC authentication protocols.
- Experience using Git and version control.
- Understanding of secure software development best practices.
- Interest or experience working with cybersecurity technologies.
- Preferred experience with OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, or LLM-based applications; cybersecurity process automation; Okta, Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID, SentinelOne, or Zscaler; Terraform, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines; Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless technologies; Azure or AWS; event-driven architectures; logging, observability, or SIEM platforms; and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC, or similar are preferred.
