Responsibilities
- Design, train, evaluate, and deploy deep-learning speech-recognition models.
- Improve and refine speech models across languages and products using real-world data and user feedback.
- Engineer fast inference for mobile devices and hosted environments.
- Own the ML lifecycle from exploration and concept development through productionization, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization.
- Ship ML models to production and maintain strong software engineering standards with clean code, tests, and guardrails.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience in deep learning for speech recognition, including developing and optimizing ASR systems in real-world applications.
- Strong foundation in speech-to-text system development.
- Experience owning the ML process end to end, including model productionization, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization.
- Experience shipping machine-learning models to production with Python and PyTorch.
- Strong software engineering skills, including clean code, testing, and guardrails.
