Base Salary
$112k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and debug embedded C/C++ software for GPS and related equipment on target hardware.
- Analyze customer specifications and assist with defining software requirements and modifications.
- Support programs from conceptual and detailed design through completion, as well as incremental updates and testing of legacy systems.
- Produce detailed design and requirements-compliance documentation.
- Evaluate design alternatives through proof-of-concept work and perform software analysis and testing.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to software engineering team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience in real-time embedded software design and analysis; alternatively, a master’s or advanced degree with at least 4 years of related experience, or 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 4 years serving as a team lead, technical lead, or subject matter expert on an embedded software development project.
- At least 4 years of technical contribution involving DoD or DoW customers or subcontractors.
- At least 6 years of experience with Python and C/C++.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- Preferred experience includes Linux or Windows embedded development, navigation and signal-processing algorithms, real-time embedded operating systems, GPS systems, anti-spoofing or cryptographic systems, Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira, Git, MBSE, and defense-industry documentation and milestone reviews.
