Responsibilities

  • Build scalable applications supporting Portfolio Management, Compliance, Finance, Data Governance, Operational Risk, and Human Resources teams.
  • Work with development teams and Senior DevOps engineers to understand challenges, propose technical solutions, and assist with implementations.
  • Manage multi-platform environments spanning on-premise Linux and Windows, AWS, Azure, and Fabric.
  • Build infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation templates.
  • Implement CI/CD processes with GitHub and GitHub Actions to automate software build, testing, and delivery.
  • Develop automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, source code management, and improved operational practices.
  • Use Python, Shell, PowerShell, Groovy, CloudFormation, and Terraform in DevOps automation.
  • Work within a Scrum team and independently while documenting user guides, defects, feature requests, and architecture designs.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of proven DevOps Engineering experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Java or Python, strong SQL skills, and comfort working with large internal and external datasets.
  • Experience deploying and managing services in AWS or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Git source control, including branching, merges, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience developing workflows in CI/CD orchestration tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with software development processes, infrastructure as code, configuration as code, issue tracking, package management, build tools, containers, artifact repositories, and deployment tools.
  • Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Shell, Jira, pip, npm, uv, Gradle, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, ECR, Nexus, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Ability to work effectively in a Scrum team and independently.
  • AWS or Azure cloud certifications are preferred.
  • Application development experience with Python, Groovy, or JavaScript is preferred.
  • Familiarity with application security domains including static code analysis, SAST, DAST, SCA, and xSPM is preferred.
  • Financial industry experience, strong documentation skills, continuous learning, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork are preferred.
