Responsibilities
- Participate in the technical design, development, implementation, troubleshooting, debugging, upgrading, and maintenance of application systems.
- Design and develop backend features and full-stack web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, and databases.
- Create structured, testable, and efficient code, automated test suites, quality assurance procedures, and technical documentation.
- Lead or support technical design, development, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement for cross-functional, multiplatform systems.
- Perform code reviews, integrate software components, address technical debt, and recommend improvements to performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Apply security, privacy, risk management, software development lifecycle, and change management practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, data engineers, business users, project managers, and global cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Software development experience with Java, Spring, Angular, and Oracle.
- Strong experience building web applications with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular 16 or later.
- Proficiency with Core Java, J2EE frameworks, web services, HTML/CSS, Web 2.0, and MySQL or Oracle databases.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong communication, analytical, teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering is a plus.
