$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive significant technology initiatives end-to-end across multiple architectural layers.
- Architect and develop scalable applications and systems.
- Design and implement durable, secure, maintainable software solutions for critical customer problems.
- Provide recommendations and best practices for application, platform, and developer-tool development.
- Identify and apply emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Partner with global teams across time zones and communicate effectively with employees, customers, management, and executives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance applications with AI technology.
- Launch AI integrations in production and evaluate their impact using appropriate performance and user-satisfaction metrics.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers on software engineering, AI-enhanced applications, and technical expertise.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
- Experience writing scalable application code with accessibility, internationalization, and instrumentation considerations.
- Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, web, and mobile design constraints.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, scalable application development, databases, and analytics.
- Proficiency with JavaScript application design and testing, and with mid-tier languages such as Java.
- Experience with test automation and unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Experience designing and implementing relational, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Interest in building CI/CD pipelines and practical experience with microservices, containers, and container management systems such as Kubernetes and Mesos.
- Experience developing and deploying applications and services in cloud environments.
- Experience building or integrating functional AI models using LLM prompting or AutoML modeling techniques.
- Ability to evaluate and monitor AI technology in production and adjust implementations for application performance.
- Ability to lead AI integration efforts and coach junior engineers on leveraging AI.
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers.
