Responsibilities
- Own frontend projects from scoping through production across payment surfaces, checkout components, and merchant-facing tooling.
- Lead frontend architecture decisions and contribute to design sessions, RFCs, and ADRs.
- Build composable, performant, adaptable, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces.
- Monitor production metrics and dashboards, proactively identify issues, and own fixes through resolution.
- Maintain a high code-quality bar, contribute to incident response, and lead resolution when required.
- Share knowledge and help improve the quality and confidence of other engineers.
Requirements
- Solid frontend engineering experience with a record of independently delivering production-grade work across the full lifecycle.
- Extensive TypeScript experience and ideally experience with web components.
- Ability to scope projects, plan architecture, and deliver independently.
- Strong understanding of accessible, performant, maintainable UI at scale.
- Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and clearly articulate trade-offs.
- Experience writing clean, well-tested, high-quality code.
- Ability to understand user and business context and communicate clearly in async-first environments.
