Responsibilities
- Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable cloud platform solutions.
- Develop frontend, backend, and DevOps components focused on automation and intelligent operations.
- Contribute to AIOps use cases including log and metric analysis, anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, incident insights, and automated runbooks and pipelines.
- Integrate AI/ML or rule-based intelligence into operational tools and services.
- Write maintainable, high-quality code and develop unit tests and validation scenarios.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve systems with an emphasis on observability and reliability.
- Collaborate on DevOps pipelines and cloud-native development practices.
Requirements
- Be a university student who is self-driven, curious, proactive, and willing to learn new technologies.
- Know one or more of JavaScript, Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Have a basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Have familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases and basic knowledge of Linux systems.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP; observability; DevOps practices; CI/CD; Git; pipelines; and AI/ML concepts such as data analysis, automation scripting, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition.
- Familiarity with Python for data processing or automation is a plus.
- Functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in Quebec.
