Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive functional and non-functional test plans for Siri feature areas.
- Perform extensive hands-on functional testing of user-facing features and systems.
- Devise test plans and user studies to evaluate qualitative customer experiences.
- Evaluate quality risks, file detailed bug reports, and communicate testing results.
- Participate in bug triage and technical and UX design reviews.
- Collaborate closely with development engineers, SDETs, program management, and other cross-functional teams.
- Advocate for critical product changes and represent the end-user experience.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industry experience.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and associated test methodologies.
- Experience building comprehensive test plans, evaluating risk, filing detailed bug reports, and communicating results.
- Strong passion for software quality assurance, including developing, extending, and maintaining test plans and methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and understand technical and interdisciplinary dependencies.
- Preferred knowledge of Apple’s development ecosystem, including Xcode, Xcode Cloud, and XCTest/XCUITest.
- Preferred experience with machine learning systems and related qualification approaches.
- Preferred software programming and automated testing experience.
