Responsibilities

  • Own the site Digital Manufacturing Solutions roadmap and align it with business priorities and DMS objectives.
  • Coordinate DMS activities across DMS, IT, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
  • Design, prototype, and deliver technical solutions and architectures for complex shopfloor environments.
  • Build and improve in-house applications using C#/.NET, React, Angular, OpenShift, and related technologies.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools and recommend practical implementation approaches.
  • Identify and drive valuable AI use cases in software development, automation, engineering productivity, and DMS.
  • Select and improve monitoring and operations tooling.
  • Troubleshoot critical technical issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
  • Ensure systems are resilient, sustainable, secure, reliable, and recoverable, including backup and recovery concepts.
  • Maintain, upgrade, and enhance local applications and systems.
  • Lead projects introducing new systems and technologies from concept through rollout.
  • Build stakeholder partnerships, provide technical guidance, and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
  • Ensure stable day-to-day operation of DMS systems and services.
  • Lead and grow the local Digital Manufacturing Solutions team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, IT, or a related field.
  • Solid hands-on coding experience, ideally with C#/.NET.
  • Comfort working with Windows Server and Linux.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle or MS SQL.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration and delivery tools.
  • Fluent Hungarian and intermediate English and/or German language skills.
  • Exposure to OPC UA, MQTT, or SECS/GEM is desirable.
  • Leadership potential and ambition to grow into people management and build a high-performing team are desirable.
  • A hands-on, pragmatic ownership style and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and build trust are desirable.
