Base Salary
$152k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture for cloud-networking and security solutions.
- Design system architectures for DPU and NIC technologies.
- Build end-to-end solutions spanning application-level software through hardware-level systems.
- Develop creative solutions to complex technical problems.
- Write clear, reliable architecture specifications.
- Research technologies and develop proof-of-concept prototypes for future products and solutions.
- Collaborate with global software and hardware architects, R&D, product, solution, application, and field engineering teams.
- Work with customers on advanced networking technologies and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a software architect or systems architect, including strong software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of C and Python.
- Hands-on Linux development experience.
- Cloud-networking experience and broad knowledge of networking protocols and topologies.
- Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work concurrently with multiple local and international groups.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Preferred experience developing networking or security devices such as NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, or firewalls.
- Preferred understanding of operating systems, drivers, data center technologies, network topologies, and cloud technologies.
- Preferred experience with DPDK, OVS, OVN, Docker, containers, and Kubernetes components and subsystems.
