Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive AWS solutions aligned with business and technical requirements and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Create reference architectures, design patterns, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Lead hands-on implementation of AWS compute, storage, networking, database, analytics, security, and container solutions.
  • Design and maintain Terraform modules, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-environment deployment processes.
  • Architect Kubernetes and containerized workloads using Amazon EKS and ECS, including security, service mesh, and observability capabilities.
  • Integrate AWS AI and machine learning services into business solutions and evaluate emerging technologies such as Model Context Protocols.
  • Implement workflow automation and job orchestration with Rundeck and AWS native services.
  • Design artifact management and software distribution strategies using JFrog Artifactory and CI/CD integrations.
  • Implement AWS security, identity, governance, compliance, encryption, and multi-account architectures.
  • Analyze and optimize AWS spending using cost-management practices, reserved-instance strategies, and architectural improvements.
  • Mentor engineering teams, conduct architecture reviews, and provide technical guidance to development, operations, security, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure and application architecture, including at least 5 years designing and implementing AWS solutions.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale AWS solutions in production environments.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, EBS, EFS, RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and AWS security services.
  • Expert-level Terraform proficiency, including modular infrastructure code, state management, workspace strategies, and infrastructure testing.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes architecture, networking, service discovery, ingress, cluster management, security, monitoring, and logging.
  • Practical experience with Rundeck, AWS automation services, JFrog Artifactory, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AWS AgentCore, Model Context Protocols, SageMaker, Bedrock, and related AI/ML technologies.
  • Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD, as well as Git.
  • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools including CloudWatch, X-Ray, Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Security – Specialty, Advanced Networking Specialty, CKA, or CKAD certifications; Azure or GCP familiarity; FinOps, security, compliance, multi-cloud, and commercial real estate or professional services experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, independent-working, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
