Base Salary

$142k - $213k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-quality, highly reliable Generative AI platform software.
  • Partner with development teams, quants, and business subject-matter experts across Citi.
  • Ensure software platforms comply with Citi security and SDLC processes.
  • Run the platform at scale while continuing to innovate and evolve it.
  • Apply LLMs, RAG, distributed systems, cloud, and platform engineering techniques to banking use cases.
  • Demonstrate leadership, project management, and clear written and verbal communication.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
  • Extensive experience analyzing systems and programming software applications.
  • Strong Python knowledge and experience with AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, distributed systems, system architecture, and large-scale platforms.
  • Experience with MLflow, W&B, MLOps tools or frameworks, Kubernetes, and at least one public cloud provider.
  • Knowledge of Scala, Clojure, Rust, or Elixir is valued.
  • Experience managing and implementing successful projects and serving as a subject-matter expert in at least one applications development area.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly and demonstrate clear, concise written and verbal communication.
