Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by nurturing prospects and supporting corporate customers.
  • Conduct discovery, qualification, technical demos, and proof of value workshops.
  • Address technical questions or objections from customers and provide solutions.
  • Produce reusable collateral to help customers adopt API-first practices.
  • Understand customer workflows and guide them in adopting best practices.
  • Share customer feedback with relevant teams and advocate for customer needs.
  • Stay updated on the competitive landscape and trends in the API market.
  • Create proof of concept integrations and maintain customer sandbox environments.
  • Act as a technical intermediary between sales and other teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of corporate sales or solutions engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with APIs and data platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-facing experience with various levels of technologists.
  • Deep understanding of APIs and experience in producing and consuming them.
  • Knowledge of modern development methodologies and DevOps.
  • Familiarity with the SaaS sales process and cloud security concerns.
  • Experience with sales strategies like MEDDIC and Challenger Sale.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
