Responsibilities
- Work directly with health system stakeholders, clinicians, administrators, IT teams, and frontline users to identify operational pain points and create solution prototypes.
- Support client deployments from discovery through configuration, integration, validation, go-live, adoption, and value measurement.
- Design, build, and deploy healthcare solutions using data pipelines, transformation logic, object models, dashboards, workflow tools, AI tools, and platform capabilities.
- Prototype and iterate solutions based on feedback from frontline users and operational leaders.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Client Success to convert client needs into repeatable product capabilities and scalable software applications.
- Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data for data mapping, workflow design, integration planning, testing, and operational validation.
- Identify data quality issues, workflow gaps, implementation risks, and adoption barriers.
- Provide technical partnership during engagements, including user onboarding, troubleshooting, and alignment with quality, safety, security, and regulatory priorities.
- Communicate implementation progress, technical findings, and business outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Define, track, and report measurable operational and customer outcomes.
- Travel frequently and embed with healthcare organizations across the U.S. for discovery, deployment, validation, and client development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, healthcare informatics, information technology, software engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical consulting, solution engineering, technical implementation, data engineering, healthcare IT, software engineering, platform engineering, systems integration, or related work.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with customers to solve complex operational problems during discovery, implementation, or deployment projects.
- Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, system-thinking, stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and execution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments with incomplete information and evolving requirements.
- Ability to bridge technical, operational, and product conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with healthcare technology, provider operations, health systems, EHR vendors, hospital operations, healthcare interoperability, and compliance frameworks.
- Preferred familiarity with Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, athenahealth, Meditech, Altera/Allscripts, HL7, FHIR, ADT feeds, interface engines, claims data, HIPAA, HITECH, ontology-based data modeling, workflow automation, decision intelligence platforms, and Palantir Foundry.
