Responsibilities
- Develop backend and frontend software as part of a cross-functional development team.
- Collaborate with senior developers, QA, and designers to deliver high-quality software.
- Coordinate with QA to ensure requirements are understood and new functionality is covered by tests.
- Participate in Scrum team activities and learn the associated team behaviors and values.
- Work on Java development projects for international clients and occasionally travel to client sites or other Merkle offices in Europe.
- Participate in formal training, on-the-job learning, mentoring, and developer shadowing.
Requirements
- Recent graduate with an IT-related university degree at bachelor’s or master’s level, with consideration also given to career switchers.
- Interest in creating high-quality software and working in an agile environment.
- Intellectual curiosity, ambition, teamwork, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Good English communication skills.
- EU citizenship or an EU work permit.
- Ability and willingness to occasionally travel to client sites or other Merkle offices throughout Europe.
