Embedded Simulation Developer - SIL and Virtualization

- Lead development and integration of cosimulation components to meet end-user test requirements.
- Create, maintain, and test virtual controller components, including hardware I/O, RTOS, and communication models.
- Develop and parameterize subsystem models such as sensors, actuators, and ECU behavioral models.
- Integrate plant and ECU models into dynamic virtual simulations.
- Collaborate with development and systems engineers to define simulation assets and implement feature requirements.
- Document simulation releases and provide support for released simulations, user testing, troubleshooting, and other team members.
- Ensure simulation environments are delivered with quality and support cloud deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Embedded C and Python.
- Competence with GCC, GDB, Eclipse, Jenkins, and ETAS INCA for embedded controls software and automated builds.
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink for plant-model development and integration, plus basic use of GT-Power, AMESIM, or CarSim.
- Proficiency with automotive communication technologies including CAN, LIN, SPI, and automotive Ethernet.
- Familiarity with FMU/FMI standards, SSP, and AUTOSAR Layered Software Architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 3+ years of embedded software development, virtualization or software integration experience, and vehicle-control software experience.
