Responsibilities
- Develop and extend the Wiz Runtime Sensor and runtime threat detection capabilities.
- Conduct threat detection research and take capabilities from concept through implementation.
- Build research infrastructure, automated testing infrastructure, and release processes.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve issues in test, staging, and production environments.
- Create and enforce security policies and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, research, and customers to address detection needs and requests.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of cloud-based development experience, including familiarity with cloud services, Kubernetes, cloud architecture, and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Deep knowledge of Windows/Linux operating system internals and networking.
- Experience delivering real-world product impact for customers.
- Experience with runtime security products, detection engineering, malware analysis, reverse engineering, vulnerability research, threat intelligence, incident response, red teaming, or threat hunting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, Linux shell scripting, Terraform, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions is advantageous.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the position’s country without visa sponsorship.
