Responsibilities

  • Design and execute manual and automated test scenarios for software telemetry, events, logs, crash reports, and analytics.
  • Validate end-to-end data flows from collaboration devices through analytics pipelines to dashboards.
  • Analyze telemetry, system logs, and field data to identify quality trends, regressions, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with engineering teams on customer issue investigation, root cause analysis, and software-fix validation.
  • Develop automated tools, scripts, and dashboards for software-quality monitoring and anomaly detection.
  • Provide data-driven insights into software stability, reliability, and customer impact for release readiness.
  • Use AI and modern analytics techniques to accelerate data validation and quality investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software QA, software analytics, or software development.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Experience validating software on Android or Linux-based systems and analyzing logs, telemetry, and software behavior.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python for automation, scripting, or data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience includes Android platform development or testing, embedded Linux, telemetry and observability platforms, crash analytics, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, CI/CD and DevOps workflows, Jira, statistical and trend analysis, AI-assisted debugging and analytics, and collaboration or video conferencing products.
