Base Salary

$133k - $134k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Assist with deploying and validating AI accelerator systems and multi-node AI clusters.
  • Support cluster bring-up, system provisioning, software installation, and health verification.
  • Execute performance benchmarks, collect system telemetry, and troubleshoot system, networking, and software issues.
  • Analyze hardware, firmware, driver, and software logs and assist with BIOS, firmware, and system software validation.
  • Support test plans, automated validation workflows, root-cause investigations, and reproduction of customer-reported issues.
  • Deploy and evaluate AI models using PyTorch and vLLM and contribute to AI inference and training optimization studies.
  • Develop Python-based tools, dashboards, scripts, and utilities for testing, monitoring, data collection, cluster management, and diagnostics.
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, technical knowledge bases, and end-to-end AI solutions integrating hardware, software, models, and applications.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Familiarity with Linux command-line tools and system administration concepts.
  • Understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, networking, or distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems through coursework, research, personal projects, robotics competitions, hackathons, open-source contributions, or previous internships.
  • Preferred experience with Python, C/C++, Bash scripting, Linux/Unix environments, Git, software development workflows, and Docker or containerized applications.
  • Preferred familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, generative AI applications, cloud or cluster computing, and GPU or AI accelerator technologies.
  • Project experience involving AI/ML applications, robotics, autonomous systems, computer vision, distributed computing, high-performance computing, or end-to-end AI solution development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, independent work, collaboration, curiosity, and systematic diagnostic skills.
