Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components using modern C++ and Rust.
- Design, implement, and test software for microscopy solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Use AI coding assistants and agents, prompt and context engineering, and AI-supported code review and testing.
- Assess AI-generated C++ and Rust code for correctness, security, performance, memory safety, concurrency, and undefined behavior.
- Explore and integrate new technologies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery.
- Optionally build agentic workflows or tooling and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Excellent proficiency in C++ or Rust; experience with both is preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience for application software or large-scale professional systems.
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with software architecture, design patterns, modern development tools, agile practices, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI in software development, including AI coding assistants or agents, prompt and context engineering, and AI-supported code review and testing.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, LLM APIs, tool calling, MCP, or multi-agent patterns is relevant or preferred.
- Ability to collaborate constructively and adapt to changing technologies and market demands.
