Deployment Engineer - ERP

- Install, migrate, upgrade, configure, and test Tyler ERP software and related components for clients moving from on-premises installations to AWS Cloud.
- Configure application, database, and web servers with Tyler and third-party software, including Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and Apache.
- Provide installation planning, technical overviews, consulting, troubleshooting, and customer support for existing clients.
- Document completed service work and assist with installation training and development of consistent installation standards.
- Manage multiple scheduled projects and conflicting priorities independently while maintaining client relationships and service quality.
- Travel for team engagements or client user groups and provide Saturday coverage up to once a month based on customer requests.
Requirements
- BS/BA in MIS, IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 18 months of relevant experience installing and configuring software associated with Tyler solutions.
- Experience administering or installing applications on Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency installing and upgrading Tyler applications.
- Strong knowledge of web servers such as IIS and Apache and secured communication using SSL.
- Basic knowledge of server hardware and network configurations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, customer service, client relationship, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, assess issue severity, and determine when management intervention is needed.
