Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor security telemetry and triage, investigate, and escalate alerts on a disconnected platform.
- Drive security incidents through containment, eradication, recovery, and after-action activities.
- Develop and tune detection content and response playbooks based on incident learnings.
- Coordinate incident reporting and handoffs with the ISSM and Government counterparts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or one of the listed security certifications, including CCSP, CEH, CFR, Cloud+, CySA+, GCED, GICSP, or PenTest+.
- At least three years of scripting, programming, and security code review experience in a common programming language, excluding internships.
- At least three years of incident response, SOC, or security operations experience.
- Experience triaging and developing security alerts and response automation, conducting front-line analysis, and providing escalation support.
- Knowledge of networking, security, relational or NoSQL databases, and Unix, Linux, and/or Windows operating systems.
- Current, active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred qualifications include GCIH, GSEC, Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or another security certification; experience in confidential environments; and familiarity with U.S. Government or IC incident-reporting requirements.
