Responsibilities

Build and ship features, integrations, bug fixes, and infrastructure improvements across the full stack.
Implement clinical rules that identify patients needing outreach.
Build AI automations interacting with payor and Medicaid systems to use insurance benefits for patients.
Develop EHR integrations that synchronize patient data and appointment updates.
Use LLMs to provide patient context to care coordinators.
Improve API performance, data pipelines, deployment tooling, and test coverage.
Write tests, submit pull requests, ship production work, and participate in code review.
Work with principal engineers to clarify technical approaches and own delivered features.

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience working across backend and frontend systems.
Strong fundamentals in data structures, system design basics, debugging, and writing testable code.
Ability to work independently, think through edge cases, write tests, and take ownership of features.
Preferred experience in health tech or healthcare, EHR systems or healthcare data, compliance-heavy or regulated environments, Azure cloud services, or mission-driven organizations serving underserved communities.

Hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
Bronx-based, co-located environment alongside care coordinators, clinicians, and operators.
