Base Salary
$156k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical sales professional and trusted technical advisor for Cisco customers, partners, and account teams.
- Lead customer and partner engagements, understand their environments and markets, and translate needs into technical requirements.
- Design and communicate solutions based on customer and partner technical and business requirements.
- Drive opportunities through the technical sales process, manage virtual sales resources, and achieve technical closure.
- Support territory planning, provide feedback on customer and competitive needs, and expand accounts through cross-selling, upselling, and competitive displacement.
- Increase revenue, closed deals, market share, and the number of new customers.
Requirements
- Experience selling or supporting security, networking, compute, and/or collaboration solutions.
- CCNA-level understanding or a background in campus network design, including switching, wireless, and routing.
- Preferred: 3+ years of customer-facing sales engineering or technical pre-sales experience.
- Preferred: Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCIE certification.
- Preferred: proven success in technical sales or solutions engineering roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging customers and partners.
- Motivation and a hunting-oriented approach to developing opportunities and growing business.
