Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and design of reliable, scalable, cost-effective, and performant AI inference and training infrastructure from the SRE side.
- Partner with development teams and senior technical leads to support reliable AI-powered features across Workspace products.
- Drive AI-first development and introduce novel engineering approaches as an AI advocate.
- Lead on-call responses to production incidents, conduct blameless postmortems, and ensure preventative measures are implemented.
- Collaborate with SRE leaders across product teams to develop and scale solutions throughout Google.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Four years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.
- Three years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with machine learning or AI in a software development environment.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
