Base Salary
$150k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop backend software and APIs for ingesting, processing, and routing telemetry data.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, high-quality code.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate feature specifications into product designs and implementable code.
- Create test plans and comprehensive automated tests to ensure product features work as expected.
- Own developed software end to end and participate in on-call and customer-support rotations.
- Contribute to technical direction, internal tools, technologies, processes, and broader team outcomes.
- Perform standby, on-call, or off-hours duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, networking, operating systems, distributed systems, and scalability principles.
- Demonstrated experience building products using large-scale data sets with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of systems-level debugging, networking, performance profiling, and tuning.
- Experience developing software or services for cloud-based platforms.
- Ability to learn new technologies and root-cause complex problems.
- Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development.
- Strong ownership and focus on high-quality, high-performing deliverables.
- Ability to comply with U.S. government security requirements for access to FedRAMP-authorized systems, which may include U.S. citizenship.
