Base Salary
$150k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop backend software and APIs for ingesting, processing, and routing telemetry data.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain clear, robust, high-performing code.
- Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate specifications into product designs and implementable code.
- Create test plans and comprehensive automated tests to validate product features.
- Own developed software end to end and participate in the team’s on-call and support rotation.
- Help influence Core Platform’s technical direction and contribute to internal tools, technologies, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, networking, operating systems, distributed systems, and scalability.
- Demonstrated experience building products using Node.js and TypeScript and handling large-scale data sets.
- Knowledge of systems-level debugging, networking, performance profiling, and tuning.
- Experience developing software or services for cloud-based platforms.
- Ability to learn new technologies and root-cause complex problems.
- Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development.
- Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. government security requirements for access to FedRAMP-authorized systems, which may include U.S. citizenship.
