Base Salary
$165k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop automation to deploy and manage on-premise compute resources.
- Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as databases and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with software engineers to create scalable and maintainable products.
- Engage in the entire lifecycle of services from inception to refinement.
- Invent tools and processes for efficient development and deployment.
- Provide comprehensive software validation through various testing platforms.
- Conduct monitoring and data analysis for continuous integration.
- Integrate and troubleshoot across the Starlink stack.
- Create and manage core infrastructure components.
- Identify improvement areas and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or engineering with 5+ years of experience in systems administration, site reliability engineering, or DevOps; or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years of experience with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Development experience in Python, C++, or C.
