Responsibilities
- Set the automation and AI roadmap for Operations in partnership with the Director and other Leads.
- Map operational processes end-to-end and identify opportunities for automation and AI.
- Build API integrations, scripts, scheduled jobs, and native workflows across HubSpot, Zendesk, internal tools, and Power Automate.
- Automate customer onboarding, installations, and provisioning through scripted, templated, repeatable processes.
- Improve the AI Tier 1 support layer through better resolution, deflection, routing, content, workflows, and edge-case coverage.
- Apply LLM tools to ticket triage, classification, data cleanup, drafting, and agent-style task automation.
- Own data and reporting on time saved, cycle times, errors, and operational impact.
- Use dry-runs, staging, idempotency, documentation, and clean handoffs to IT for production.
- Establish reusable automation patterns and lightweight governance for reliable, maintainable systems.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work as a self-directed builder who owns the roadmap and executes the work personally.
- Comfort with REST APIs, including authentication, JSON, pagination, and rate limits.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with a CRM or ticketing platform such as HubSpot or Zendesk and its automation tools.
- Experience building or tuning AI/LLM workflows such as support automation, classification, or agents.
- Ability to map manual processes and identify where automation fits.
- Solid data-handling skills with CSV or Excel, including matching and merging; SQL is a plus.
- A careful, test-first mindset.
- Nice-to-have experience with HubSpot Data Sync, Zapier, Make, scripted provisioning or deployment, Git, SaaS, hospitality technology, or support operations.
