Responsibilities
- Conduct security and network robustness assessments of embedded devices, industrial software, web applications, APIs, mobile apps, and wireless devices.
- Analyze security-testing results, prepare technical reports, and recommend fixes to development teams.
- Research testing methodologies for communication protocols, cloud-connected platforms, and API security.
- Perform vulnerability assessment, port scanning, penetration testing, fuzzing, web application scanning, and mobile/API security testing.
- Develop Python-based automation and integrate security tools into build pipelines for automated scans.
- Collaborate with development, QA, program and product management, technical publications, and project partners.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering with 4–8 years of security-domain experience.
- M.Tech in Cyber Security or Networking with a CGPA of 6.5 or above.
- Demonstrable Python experience in an object-oriented environment and experience with Python automation frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, application protocols, operating systems, software exploitation, common vulnerabilities, and web technologies.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25 vulnerabilities, HTTP, REST, SOAP, mobile and API security testing, and cryptographic/security protocols such as SSL and PKI.
- Experience with Selenium, PyTest or similar test-automation frameworks and Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on Java, shell scripting, and Golang experience is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, and technical-report-writing abilities.
