Base Salary
$78k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and secure container platforms and container management software.
- Build container images and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
- Manage tools deployed with Helm and automate operations using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Build and support AWS DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and support custom applications in production environments.
- Advise on cloud platform strategy and design, recommend container adoption resources, and ensure containerization standards are met.
- Monitor container environments and evaluate, mitigate, or resolve security vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with containerization, including image building and Kubernetes deployment orchestration.
- At least 2 years of experience managing Helm-deployed tools and using automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with AWS, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, custom production applications, and container networking, monitoring, and storage.
- Knowledge of container security technologies and vulnerability evaluation and remediation.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred experience with automation, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Ruby, system integration, JSON, XML, YAML, OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model, or DevSecOps Maturity Model.
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Google Certified Professional–Cloud Architect, or MCSE–Cloud Platform and Infrastructure are preferred.
