Responsibilities
- Develop R solutions for statistical programming, data manipulation, visualization, and scientific and clinical decision support.
- Build web applications and websites using R/Shiny.
- Work with CDISC standards including SDTM, ADaM, and SEND, as well as TLF programming.
- Apply validation principles in GxP environments and support medical data review and pharmacovigilance activities.
- Gather requirements, manage the backlog, and collaborate with scientists, clinical researchers, data scientists, bioinformaticians, and engineers.
- Design and maintain reproducible data processing pipelines and R packages.
Requirements
- Proficiency in R for statistical programming, data manipulation, and visualization.
- Knowledge of CDISC standards, including SDTM, ADaM, and SEND, and related industry best practices.
- Experience with TLF programming, validation principles in a GxP environment, medical data review, and pharmacovigilance.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with drug development and clinical trial workflows.
- Experience in requirements gathering and backlog management.
- Master's degree in bioinformatics or a related discipline such as computer science, data science, biostatistics, or mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience with R/Shiny web applications, Nextflow-based reproducible pipelines, molecular biology and bioinformatics concepts, bioinformatics tools and databases, R package development, and collaboration with scientists and clinical researchers.
- Valid government-issued identification is required; applicants must be located in EMEA or LATAM.
