Base Salary
$138k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, release, and maintain intuitive CNN iOS and tvOS applications.
- Lead mobile technology strategy, architecture, best practices, and technology-stack decisions.
- Support mobile backend APIs, CI/CD tools, testing automation, and the core production pipeline.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Delivery, Editorial, and Engineering teams on consumer experience solutions.
- Troubleshoot production problems, perform root-cause analysis, and debug software.
- Maintain existing production systems and ensure solutions follow architecture, security, governance, coding, monitoring, logging, testing, and service-enablement standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor less experienced developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in a professional development environment.
- Advanced experience with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, solution development, usability design, and enterprise or major-business-unit projects.
- Strong programming fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Full-mobile-stack development experience covering native mobile clients and SDKs, build CI/CD, and APIs, such as Swift and SwiftUI.
- Expertise architecting performant, scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with mobile DevOps CI/CD tools, code-signing automation, and automated testing.
- Preferred familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Maven or Gradle, Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods, Terraform, and Appium.
- General familiarity with SQL/RDBMS, NoSQL, and graph databases.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, OpenStack, and OpenShift.
- Effective written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
- Experience designing flexible software architectures that accommodate changing business needs.
- AWS Professional Certification is preferred but not required.
