Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain features across the Keystone PACS platform.
- Work with DICOM data and imaging workflows, including storage, transfer, viewing, and reporting.
- Build and support integrations with imaging modalities and practice management systems.
- Design services focused on high availability, scalability, performance, and observability.
- Own the quality, testing, and production readiness of delivered work.
- Write clean, documented code and participate in code and design reviews.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to evaluate new technologies.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues with the Support team.
- Collaborate with Product and Support to translate client needs into software solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with medical imaging, PACS, and the DICOM standard.
- Strong skills in a modern object-oriented language such as C#/.NET or C++.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Solid understanding of networking and client-server architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently within a remote team.
- Preferred: experience with HL7 or healthcare integrations.
- Preferred: experience with AWS or Azure and image storage at scale.
- Preferred: experience with 3D rendering or advanced image viewers.
