Base Salary
$184k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and operate robot hardware for research and deployment experiments.
- Implement and maintain C++ and Python robotics software for control, planning, and ROS/ROS2-based systems.
- Develop infrastructure for policy deployment, data collection, and the robot learning data flywheel.
- Run robot experiments and define data collection pilots to accelerate model development.
- Debug and troubleshoot robotic software, hardware, and policy failures in lab environments.
- Build deployment and regression tests to improve reliability and repeatability.
- Collaborate with research, ML engineering, robotics, and hardware teams to move research hypotheses into real-world robotic systems.
Requirements
- Experience with robot manipulation and robot hardware.
- Experience using C++ and Python in robotics or machine learning environments.
- Strong robotics and machine learning fundamentals with the ability to translate research into robust systems.
- A PhD is preferred; an MS is acceptable with strong relevant experience.
- Publications in top-tier conferences such as ICRA, CoRL, or IROS are highly valued.
