Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain IOMMU features across the Linux kernel and userspace.
- Triage, investigate, and resolve IOMMU issues in the Linux kernel.
- Improve IOMMU security, reliability, and performance in the Linux kernel.
- Engage the upstream community to improve Linux IOMMU support and advance innovation.
- Collaborate within the team and across teams and organizations.
- Participate in industry conferences and advocate initiatives shaping virtualization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience, or one year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- Two years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
- Preferred: experience with Kernel-Based Virtual Machine.
