Responsibilities
- Optimize the production operation of two high-usage GenAI applications for stability, performance, and availability.
- Plan, own, and automate the complete deployment process from CI/CD pipelines through production releases.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and Azure using Terraform and ensure reliable application operation, including OpenShift environments.
- Automate monitoring, alerting, ticket routing, deployments, and user communications while reducing manual work.
- Identify systemic weaknesses, propose improvements, and implement them independently.
- Act as a technical partner to product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders, translating technical realities into clear communication.
- Provide reliable user support, prioritize issues, and improve operational processes.
Requirements
- Several years of proven DevOps experience in productive environments with high user loads.
- Professional experience writing, structuring, and maintaining Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Solid public cloud experience, including GCP, Azure, or comparable cloud environments.
- Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or comparable pipeline tools.
- Automation experience using Python, shell scripts, or comparable technologies.
- Experience developing and maintaining monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability setups.
- A technically deep, independent, pragmatic, and improvement-oriented working style with a strong support mindset.
- Fluent German and English communication skills.
- Completed degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or demonstrably equivalent professional experience.
